Jean–just wanted to thank you for having Joan lead our tour. He’s simply amazing with encyclopedic knowledge of history, politics and geography. Further, he is like-able and we’re enjoying his company. I feel privileged to have him share his knowledge with us. Best—Steve
The trip was great, we truly had a blast. The weather was quite bad in the Basque region, bad luck, not your fault. It was overall a fascinating experience, discovering new places and people on a daily basis. Besides the magnificent landscapes, breathtaking locations, great choice of hotels and activities, I want to give big thanks to the "Terra Traditions" team, especially to our guide, Trini, for the well managed time spent and all the laughs. We forgot his name, but the driver was very nice too 🙂
We had a wonderful time during our tour in Spain! All of us, the girls, my husband and I enjoyed every second of it. We saw so much, learnt so many little facts, and felt so incredibly well taken care of, the local guides you chose for us and the hotel's selection matched our style and attitude perfectly. I am definitively coming back next year, and I probably would like to spend more time in Barcelona, just on my own, and visit once more many of the sites that Joan showed us, specially Parc Guell, I would love to spend a whole day there. My husband and I fell in love with the north of Spain. The beauty of the Catalonian coast, the Costa Brava, we found that scenery really breathtaking and loved the ‘authenticity’ of Girona. The location and selection of the hotels were perfect. To sum it up, these holidays will stay with us for a very long time.
Northern Spain weather is quite unpredictable. A rule of thumb is the more in land you are the dryer the weather is, so you can get a cool and damp climate on the coast while in inland areas it becomes colder. The southern area of Castille is more continental and more arid.
